Introduction

Distance does not have to interrupt the design process when the brief and communication are clear. From Ho Chi Minh City, KOW NIA works remotely with clients to develop interiors and custom furniture for international projects.

The service combines remote interior design with furniture development and production in Vietnam. We can work from an initial spatial brief or an existing set of 2D drawings. Deliverables and responsibilities are agreed before work begins.

When You Need It

For clients, design teams and businesses seeking remote interior design or custom furniture production for projects in California, elsewhere in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Clients provide plans, measurements, photographs and technical requirements from their local team. Where information is incomplete, we identify what needs to be confirmed before finalising the design or starting production.

What’s Included

  • Concept development, space planning and visualisations within the agreed design scope.

  • 2D furniture drawings covering dimensions, construction, connections and custom details.

  • Review of material samples, finishes and product prototypes where required.

  • Production coordination, checks against approved drawings, packing and formal export arrangements as agreed.

Our Approach

Starting with the 2D drawings, KOW NIA develops dimensions, connections, materials and installation details. Drawings and samples are approved before production, with review points recorded for each item.

Packing dimensions, transport routes, site access and assembly at the destination are considered early. Import documentation, duties and product requirements are confirmed for each market with the relevant specialists; requirements vary by product and destination.

What You Get

Deliverables may include design files, production drawings, material specifications, and interior items as specified in the contract. Delivery methods, shipping responsibilities, and on-site installation terms will be agreed upon separately.

Reference projects in California include BINGE Coffee House, Newark, The Morrow, Lomita, and Trang Do Law Office, San Jose. The scope of each project is detailed on its respective page. Remote services do not include licensed architectural practice, obtaining building permits, or direct construction in the US; those tasks belong to an appropriate local team.

Investment Note

Costs depend on drawing completeness, materials, quantities, packing and delivery arrangements. The programme includes drawing approval, sampling, production and transport. Customs clearance timing is confirmed only when the shipment requirements are known.

Please share your project brief with the country, city, available drawings or measurements, furniture schedule and required delivery date so we can define a suitable scope.
