A little red for a small bathroom
KOW NIA Design Studio

A red cabinet can be enough to make a small bathroom memorable. Against neutral walls, a white basin and a dark countertop, it brings a cheerful note to an everyday room.
The colour is part of a wider arrangement. A red door frame connects with the cabinetry, framed artwork gives the wall a rhythm, and light beside the mirror draws attention to the washbasin. Small details give the bathroom the same consideration as other rooms in the home.

One clear accent
Small rooms do not need to rely entirely on pale colours. The more useful decision is where a stronger colour should appear. Keeping red on the cabinet and door frame allows the background to remain quiet and the main area of use to stay clear.
The white basin introduces a bright shape above the dark counter. Below it, storage also becomes the room's main feature. A piece of furniture needed every day can be the element that gives the interior its personality.

In another Topaz scheme, blue is concentrated around the vanity and mirror, illustrating a defined colour accent. Visualisation: KOW NIA.
Make the everyday details comfortable
A practical bathroom leaves room to use the basin, open drawers and retrieve belongings. Think about what will be on the counter each morning before selecting colours or fittings. The cabinet works best when those items have a place.
Lighting should also be considered from the position of someone standing at the mirror. A wash of light can give the wall depth, while the face and counter still need useful illumination. Testing fittings with the mirror and material samples makes those decisions more tangible.
Junctions around the basin, countertop and wall deserve the same care so they remain manageable to clean. A photograph cannot identify a material specification; suitability for a humid area and maintenance requirements should be checked against the actual product.
What gives the room its charm is the fit between expression and routine. The red makes it recognisable. Storage, lighting and considered details make it comfortable to use.
